About this site
zlatoris.online is a small, independent site about video games, published from Prague by BRSM s.r.o.. It is free to read, funded by advertising, and built so that it collects nothing at all from the people who read it.
Who publishes it
The publisher is BRSM s.r.o., Ocelkova 643/20, Černý Most, 198 00 Praha 9, Czech Republic, company registration number (IČO) 19063687, VAT number (DIČ) CZ19063687. The director of publication and responsible editor is Lucas Thomas, who is accountable for everything published here and can be reached at info@zlatoris.online. Full registration details are in the legal notice.
What we publish
Long-form explanatory articles about games: how the systems inside them actually work, what they cost in money and in time, and what is commonly claimed about them that does not survive checking. We are more interested in explaining a mechanic properly than in scoring a game out of ten.
Currently published:
- World of Warships explained — the main guide.
- Ship classes — what each class does and which to learn first.
- Frequently asked questions — short answers to the questions new players ask.
- Glossary — the vocabulary, explained in plain English.
Three things that make this site unusual
1. It collects nothing
No cookies, no analytics, no pixels, no fingerprinting, no browser storage, and not one request to any third party. That is not a promise you have to take on trust: our cookie policy shows you how to verify it in your browser's developer tools in about thirty seconds. It also means there is no consent banner, because there is nothing to consent to.
2. The advertising is labelled everywhere
The site is funded by affiliate commission and says so at the top of every page carrying a commercial link, again under the headline, again on every button, and again underneath it. See the advertising disclosure.
3. The illustrations are our own
Every diagram on this site was drawn for it as an original SVG file. We use no product screenshots and no stock photography — partly because that would be a copyright and trademark problem on an ad-funded page, and partly because a diagram built to explain one mechanic explains it better than a screenshot does.
Independence
We are not affiliated with, endorsed by or sponsored by Wargaming Group Limited or any other game publisher. Trademarks are used only to identify the products we write about. Advertisers do not see articles before publication and cannot have criticism removed; the rules are set out in our editorial policy, along with the corrections procedure.
Corrections
If we get something wrong, tell us at info@zlatoris.online and we will check it, fix it, and say publicly what we changed. Corrections already made are listed openly at the foot of the article concerned.
