Editorial policy
Last updated 21 September 2026. This policy is binding on everyone who writes for this site.
Who writes here
Editorial responsibility for zlatoris.online rests with Lucas Thomas, director of publication for BRSM s.r.o.. Every article carries the name of the person who wrote it and the date it was published. If an article is later corrected or substantially updated, the change is recorded on the page itself rather than made silently.
We do not publish anonymous articles, we do not publish under invented author names, and we do not publish machine-generated copy that no named person has read, checked and signed.
How we establish facts
- Primary sources first. For a game, that means the publisher's own site, its patch notes and the game client itself. Where a claim can be checked in the client, we check it in the client.
- Sources are named. Each article lists what it was based on. A reader who wants to verify a claim should be able to find the same source we used.
- We hedge what we cannot verify. If something is uncertain, disputed, or true only of one region or one patch, the article says so in those words rather than rounding it into a confident sentence.
- We do not publish numbers that decay. Damage values, detection ranges, reload times, prices and ship counts change with nearly every update. We describe mechanics qualitatively and send the reader to the client for current figures, because a precise number that is four months stale is simply misinformation with a decimal point.
- The publisher's own information prevails. Every article states this. Where we differ from the game's publisher, believe the publisher and tell us.
How this site is funded
zlatoris.online is funded by advertising. Specifically, by affiliate commission: when a reader follows a partner link and registers with an advertiser, BRSM s.r.o. may receive a payment from that advertiser. We receive aggregate reports — how many registrations — never the identity of a reader.
We take no money for a review score, for a favourable sentence, or for the removal of a critical one. An advertiser's money buys advertising space and a link. It does not buy a conclusion. The advertising disclosure describes the arrangement in detail, and every page carrying commercial links says so at the top, under the headline and beside every link.
What we refuse to do
These are not aspirations. They are rules, and an article that breaks one does not go out.
- No invented testimonials. We do not write "reader stories", we do not publish quotes from people who do not exist, and we do not present advertising copy as the experience of a member of the public. An earlier version of the main article on this site used that framing; it has been removed.
- No invented ratings. No star ratings, scores out of ten or "editor's choice" badges that were not produced by an actual, described assessment.
- No fabricated statistics. No player counts, revenue figures, win rates or "9 out of 10" claims without a named source. If we cannot source it, it does not appear.
- No artificial urgency. No countdown timers, no "offer ends tonight" unless the advertiser has genuinely published that deadline, no "only 3 places left", no fake stock counters.
- No guaranteed outcomes. We do not promise results of any kind, and we do not describe a game as a way to make money.
- No misleading interfaces. No fake system alerts, no imitation news layouts, no buttons dressed up as something they are not, no disclosure hidden in small grey text at the foot of the page.
- No pretending to be someone else. We do not imitate a publisher, a brand or a news organisation, and we say clearly on every page that we are not affiliated with the brands we write about.
Independence from advertisers
Advertisers see no article before publication, have no right of review and no right of veto. They cannot require the removal of criticism. Where our reporting is inconvenient for an advertiser, it is published anyway — the main article on this site corrects three claims in the advertiser's favour that we had previously printed, including the claim that the game contains no pay-to-win element, and those corrections stand.
If a commercial relationship ever made an honest article impossible, we would drop the commercial relationship, not the article.
Advertising, clearly labelled
On every page that carries commercial links:
- a disclosure bar appears at the very top of the page, above everything else;
- a disclosure box appears immediately after the headline, before any promotional content;
- every button carries a visible "partner link" label;
- a note under each button states that we may earn a commission and that it costs the reader nothing extra;
- every commercial link carries
rel="sponsored nofollow noopener"in the markup, so that search engines and other software can identify it as paid.
Corrections procedure
- Tell us. Email info@zlatoris.online with the page, the sentence and what you believe the correct position to be. Anyone may do this; you do not have to give a reason or identify yourself beyond an address we can reply to.
- We check it against primary sources, normally within five working days.
- If we were wrong, we correct the page — we do not quietly delete the sentence — and we record what was wrong and what it now says, in a corrections section on that page.
- If the error was significant — anything that could have led a reader to a decision they would not otherwise have taken — the correction is noted at the top of the article, not only at the bottom.
- If we disagree with you, we say so and explain why. You are free to publish our answer.
The corrections already made to the main article are listed openly at the foot of that article.
Complaints
If you believe this policy has been breached, write to Lucas Thomas at info@zlatoris.online. Complaints about advertising practice can also be taken to the relevant national advertising regulator or consumer protection authority; in the Czech Republic that is the Czech Trade Inspection Authority (Česká obchodní inspekce).
